Construction begins on the future home of Grace Center
Construction continues - this shows the latrine and foundation, and how close the Center is to the slum area of Limuru. The Center will be secure from the noise of the town and very reacheable by young children from thetown and the slums.
We leap forward in time - Grace School and Grace Center were unknown, but there is now a lamp on the hill. These are the children and teachers of Grace School - Limuru.
For our children, one of the most important times of the day is their mid-day meal. In this picture, teachers are serving lunch to some of our students.
Contrast this setting to our partially completed dining hall toward the end of this photo set.
Samuel talking with the children as they take lunch. Contrast with later photo of our dining hall.

Looking across Grace School's garden toward the slum area of Limuru. Grace raises the food that it provides to its students for lunch each day.
Another view of our garden, looking up the hill toward Grace School. To the left is the beginning of our new school building.
Grace School students pose in front of the beginnings of our new classroom building that is adjacent to the main school building.
The new Grace School classroom building, still under construction, is in the foreground, with the original classroom building behind it. The edge of our garden is to the right. Our school is fenced and gated - to protect property and materials.
Our new school building, on the left, and the original Grace School building - with students and teachers posing.
Our new classroom building is a great joy, as it gives us badly needed teaching space. At this point in its development we are trying to add a small library.
Another view showing the two blocks of Grace School.
Grace School buildings are to the left of the garden that provides fresh food for our students.
Our Dining Hall/Kitchen Facility is now under construction.
The new Grace School classroom building was completed in 2006.
